UMMA's First Forum Discussion

Hey playas, whats up? hope everyone is good in health. truth be told, next week will be our first forum discussion together with our guest speaker Mr. Al Mahdi. I just talked to him awhile ago, and he is keen on meeting us next week to talk about a topic related to Islam. However, though he has agreed to visit HELP and be a part of our forum discussion, he has yet to decide on what topic he's going to talk about because he wants to see the club's brochure and also our mission statement, in other words, he wants to pick a topic which is suitable and comprehensibly related to us students.

By the way, for those who are curious about him, don't fret cos I managed ask him about his credentials and qualifications, and believe it or not, he has a degree and Masters in Syariah Law from University Malaya, and he is currently pursuing another masters in counseling from the same institution. Pretty impressive don't you think?

I hope each and everyone of you can make it for this activity, because this would undeniably be a really good exposure for the club and also to us, cos its not everyday you can ask a person with that kind of credentials to give a talk for our club.

The forum will be at Activity 2 DSA, on Level 5 Wisma Help. The talk will start at 12.30pm and end around 2pm. classes usually ends at 12 and that gives you guys half and hour to get to Wisma. One more reminder, do encourage the rest of your friends to come as well cos the place can accommodate 40 people. Moreover, head of foreign students, Amal Abdullah, please inform other international students about this, same thing goes for omar and Indra.

This is our first post. Basically, this blog will be the website for us members of United Muslims Moving Ahead of HELP University College, to do our announcement and to reach more people.

It could be something like a website, a medium for us to share anything and everything about our club to the people out there. A place for us to let others know about the details of our club, and also could be our 'diary' on activities that we already did.
