Details concerning UMMA's special guest speaker:-

Mr. Al Mahdi is actually a part-time lecturer who has taught numerous private colleges all across the Klang Valley, especially HELP University College. Teaching Islamic studies as part of the Lembaga Akredasi of Malaysia's (LAN) curriculum for local Malaysian students, Mr. Mahdi is a veteran educationalist on the subject of Islam. This is undeniable as his record credentials speaks for itself, a former graduate of University of Malaya, Mr. Mahdi earned his Degree and Masters in Syariah Law and is currently pursuing another Masters in Counselling at the same institution.

As part of our first forum talk, UMMA welcomes students, lecturers and even staffs who are interested in knowing more about Islam. The topic of discussion for this talk is mainly about peoples misconception or misinterpretation of Islam and how it affects believers and non believers in todays society. A discussion such as this not only would ingrain a fresh new perspective about the issue yet also emphasizes more on the divine uniqueness of the religion.
